How to Differentiate Our Legit Email with a Spoof Email
We noticed that there is a possibility where scammers might take advantage of the fact that we would use an email to send our users their confidential information, whether it is regarding their allocated commissions or their winnings from a specific event.
We encourage all users to check the email for it’s legibility by the following method. Do note that the first few steps are meant for Gmail users. Please search on the Internet on how to search the email source, rest of the steps are similar.
Please beware of scammers and phishing sites. We would never DM you first, request for money or your private information like your seed phrases.
- Open the email, and select the 3 dots icon.
2. Select “Show Original”
3. In the original message, the SPF and DKIM should show something like this
4. Press “Ctrl + F “, then search for “SPF” and “DKIM”
These are examples of valid and official emails. You should see something like this when receiving emails from us.
These are examples of false and spoofed emails.
Note that the SPF is not valid, indicating a spoofed email.
Please do your own due diligence regarding this matter. Note that we will never request money or any specific passwords or seed phrases from you.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all members of our communities for the continuous support in making Monsta Infinite a reality.
