MONI Heist Post-Mortem Report
We would like to clarify that if your wallet address was not listed as one of the winners, it may be due to 2 reasons;
- You submitted a wrong/invalid wallet address into the Gleam.io form.
- You submitted a wrong/invalid Discord Tag into the Gleam.io form.
A total of 25,000 MONI tokens were distributed to a total of 1,517 wallet addresses which are used by our Monsta Mafias to participate in this MONI Heist event. The allocated amount of MONI sent is calculated based on your amount of invites over the event’s total number of invites.
We knew that there will be a possibility of users using bots to cheat in this event. To provide a fair playing field for our participants, we have utilized our own anti-bot mechanism that is evidently successful in solving this matter.
As shown in the picture below, we utilised bots that will filter the total invitees which are shown by the blue symbol, and differentiate real users which are displayed in the green; filtering and removing fake accounts or bots which is displayed by the poop emoji. Our bot also had the capabilities to detect and filter out invites that left the Discord server, which is shown by the red cross symbol.
This anti-bot or anti-cheat mechanism allowed us to level the playing field of the event, ensuring a fair situation for all of the participants joining this event to earn their fair share of the 25,000 MONI reward.
From this event, our official Discord server has gained more than 30,000 new members from all around the world, joining our Monsta family.
